Service history
Body: In 2002 it was stripped down to bare metal and the rusty driver's door, rear left quarter panel (bolt-on) and both rocker panels were replaced with new ones bought from Moss Motors, UK. The exterior body and engine bay were subsequently re-sprayed in Brooklands Green.
Engine: In 1993 the engine was totally overhauled and capacity slightly enlarged by cylinder machining. Both Stromberg carburettors were restored with correct jet needles. In 2011 it received its maintenance service (oil and sparkplugs).
Transmission: It was overhauled in 1993 replacing all synchros. In 2011 it was serviced again fitting several new parts including a flywheel and a clutch plate.
Brakes: In 1993 the front brakes were repaired using new discs and calipers. In 2011 the rear ones (drums. cylinders etc) were overhauled.
Steering: Minor front end repairs were conducted in 2011.
Electrics: Wiring system was ordered by Moss and fitted correctly with minimal alterations. A new overdrive switch was fitted in 2011.
