Car has had body off to restore chassis. Chassis is just about complete and body placed back on. Chassis had new floor pans welded in, new track rod ends x4, new balljoints x4, suspension rubbers, anti roll bar rubbers, brake master cylinder, return spring, rebuilt pedal assembly, brake discs, brake hoses x4, all brake pipes, fuel pipe, fuel hoses and so on. Requires handbrake cables and brakes bleeding.
Fitted with a Type3 suitcase style engine. Recently rebuilt with new 1641cc cylinders, new push rod tubes, seals, gaskets etc. New clutch kit to suit the beetle type 1 gearbox. No oil leaks. Tinware painted matt black. Requires exhaust to complete.
Body is complete with all glass and panels (2x doors, 1 bonnet, 1 boot). The body is good condition without any major cracking or crazing. The rear end has been chopped about for lights, but would easily be sorted when you decide what lights you are fitting. The doors and bonnet etc arent fitted currently. It does clean up well but soon goes dull, it may machine polish but most likely a respray. Comes with perspex headlight covers.
Rolling on turbovec alloys (quite rare) in 4x130 beetle fitment. 14" front, 15" deeper dish rear for that sporty appearance.
There is no interior with it, some fiberglass centre console items etc. Part of dashboard etc.
There is no wiring in the car, it was a death trap and has been removed. Included in sale is a Car Builder Solutions fuse / relay / wiring circuit board (about £200 alone) to get you started.
These are quite rare kits in the UK, popular in netherlands. It has all the important bits like windscreen, headlight covers etc. The engine is worth afew bob to the VW scene as is the refurbished chassis.
