The car has had a full body and chassis restoration, this was carried out around 10 years ago and has stood the test of time very well.
The only sign of rust on the body is some bubbling on the bottom edge of the drivers door.
I would say the quality of the respray is 8 out of 10 (1 being someone on there driveway with a rattle can and 10 being factory fresh) it looks great and has a nice shine to it but on close inspection there is some imperfections and micro blistering.
Engine gearbox and diff are all in good health with no untoward noises, there is the odd oil leak here and there but nothing out of the ordinary for a 30year old bmw with 140k on the clock.
Exhaust system has seen quite a bit of action with the mig welder, it's solid and there are no leaks but there is a rattle from the center heat shield only at very low rpm.
Interior wise everything's in good shape with the exception of a couple of small cracks on the dashboard and the usual oil inspection light on the dash
I have owned the car for around 6years it has always been garaged and well cared for.
