Here for sale we have this very smart Series 2a in popular colour configuration. On the outside, the vehicle has had a professional spray finish, and the bodywork is very straight of a vehicle this age - a rarity in these vehicles.
Correct period features exist such as the round mirrors, vintage numberplates, front tow hitch, razor edge bonnet, rear mudflaps and rear lamp guards. A brand new canvas and sticks are fitted, in addition to a towball and electrics which make towing a possibility. Brand new 750 Military 'Chevron' tyres are fitted to modular type wheels, which give unrivalled off-road capability as well as being self cleaning, as well as making the vehicle stand well. The vehicle also benefits from a recent tailgate.
On the inside, the vehicle is very much standard, with a new set of standard front seats and deluxe matting fitted throughout, as with all our vehicles. A working round heater is fitted, which is useful for the colder months ahead. The rear, although unfitted could house bench seats if wished to allow for seven occupants.
Out on the road, this vehicle gives a nice pleasing driving experience, as per the period it was built. The 750 tyres give a little extra gearing, which lowers revs in the cruise and makes things a little quieter. It drives and stops as it should, and turns heads wherever it goes!
