1999 MGF 1. 8i VVC just one previous owner and lots of history to back up the mileage.
finished in one of my favourite colours Solar Red this has the contrasting full Sand leather interior and wood trimmed steering wheel.
The interior is in good overall condition with no rips to the leather.
The exterior benefits from the full MG hardtop in matching colour just in time or winter.
Overall the exterior is in decent condition with a few minor scrapes but nothing to bad.
The soft top is good with a couple of old repairs but you need to look close to spot them, the screen is in good condition as well.
We love the MGF and when a good one comes up we always try and secure it. This one was offered to us a few months ago after having been sat for a while.
We have put it through the workshop and had a full service carried out including the plugs and filters. It had the normal problem with these in that the old coolant pipes had been leaking so these have been replaced with brand new stainless steel versions with the coolant all renewed at the same time.
We have also replaced the cam-cover gasket as this was weeping a little oil.
The obvious question with the MGF is Head Gasket! I have had this tested and it seems fine, no signs of Mayo anywhere and since the new pipes no coolant loss. This one having covered 74000 Miles my assumption is that it has been replaced before. however unfortunately I have no paperwork to back this up.
Its due to go for a MOT this week so will come with a full years MOT.
So overall a good solid example with all the main jobs done.
