EXTERIOR
This 7-Series is presented in Titanium Silver Metallic, a smart colour choice against the handsome E38 design. Factory specified with the M Sport Package, this example has a commanding presence on the road with the help of M Sport body styling, sports suspension, and M Parallel wheels. The bright paintwork retains a sharp metallic flake throughout and is a nice contrast to the shadowline trim. The light lenses are free from any moisture or cracks, and both front and rear bumpers are without any scrapes.
INTERIOR
The interior space is upholstered with black leather, showing minimal wear to the seat bases and bolsters. The rear seats are also clean with little evidence of regular use. The lustrous wood inlays are a lovely complement to the dark interior and remain largely unmarked. All switchgear retains a factory texture and operates as it should throughout.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The 3. 5-litre M62 V8 engine starts first turn of the key and idles up to temperature as it should. The engine bay retains a clean appearance with no signs of any damage, poor repair, or corrosion to any of the inner panels. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a smooth five-speed ZF automatic transmission, which performs well on test.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
This example sits on the desirable 18-inch M Parallel alloy wheels, as supplied with the M Sport package. The wheels with their striking polished lip remain in good original condition and only a few age related marks to be found. They are shod in DUNLOP tyres all round. Beneath the boot carpet you'll find a pristine spare M Parallel.
HISTORY FILE
The E38 was first registered in June 2001 and has now covered just 147k miles. The history file is complete with the original BMW document pack, dealer-supplied manuals, the V5C, and old MOT certificates. The service booklet is present as well as a spare keys.
