Description
Road registered. Ignore any Triton built. True race bike engineered to top quality, and on the road, how good is that?
ON EBAY AT MOMENT AND ON RESERVE.
1968 genuine Rickman Bros frame from New Milton factory. Registered 1969 with a 1959 pre-unit 120 Triumph engine and box.
1982 it was totally rebuilt as a Nourish.
Have all the various manuals and spec sheets etc from NRE.
Since then certain improvements have been made as the technology increased. Now has one of the compact alternators mounted in rear of primary.
Belt drive with Commando box with extra size/ length kick start.
Stronger box section Rickman swing arm. Complete Mick Hemmings twin disc front end. Best can get.
Was written up in Classic Bike Guide in July 1995. Copy with provenance. Old log books, receipts, and MOTs etc etc.
Make no mistake, although starts easily (with good legs, unlike mine) and lumps over like a 6T, is total animal. Could easily be tracked for sure. Have a set of Denso racing plugs if so desire.

Runs on Chatsworth straight 40 and has external oil filter.
Pictures and videos speak for themselves.
Selling reluctantly as just cannot kick start it. I fire it on rollers, and run around making sure not to stop anywhere, unless know pal with proper legs is about. Would track it , but not as fast as was on my Rickman 500 Daytona back in late 70's
Seat and tank are new ones ex MRD Metisse/ Pat French. Seat has just been covered by antique restorer in brown leather. He said looked very quick for a chaise longue.
As regards the tank, i use petrol with no ethanol. I do not use in any of my bikes, unless modern and not going to keep long. Do not get started about ethanol!! Had to buy ultrasonic carb cleaner for any Hinkley Triumphs i get, just to get carbs to work again.
Taking ethanol out is easy. Strip 97 octane and get about norm 95. For the NRE i then add a tad octane booster..... if added some lead substitute guess would then have the old 5 star leaded back again!......
Bike is amazing.
Bike is almost unique.
Do not confuse with any cafe racer bitza. This IS a racer on the road. Engine is totally engineered from scratch by known top man. NRE now operating in Kent, and in full swing with new engineer/ owner, who you will find both competent and approachable.
Impossible to value, so asking for reasonable offers. 10k must be the region. Will be going to Bonhams in April if no result soon.
Can get delivery organised for £100 to UK, 150 to Highlands, 175 to Ireland, and Chaz Mortimer can do Europe all over if ask him for a quote.
