The bike is a Douglas T35 or Mk1 as they are so often called.
The bike looks good in the photos with an abundance of patina & showing a low mileage of 43000 & runs well but I think it’s now bordering on the edge of requiring a full overhaul/ mild restoration.
I would recommend viewing the Douglas if interested so you can make up your own mind on how much patina is too much! The MK1 is getting hard to find now so should be worth the investment.
The V5C is here plus the original log books buff & green, the engine & frame numbers match the original log books. There is some history with the bike plus a Spares Book, Operation & Maintenance Book & a Douglas Machine Register (2014) booklet.
I purchased the bike a few years ago with great intention to ride & restore overtime but this is unlikely to happen now so I have decided to let him go.
I will entertain a PX for an Italian “Road Legal” motorcycle from the 50’s to 70’s of equal value if this helps, cash ether way.
