Description: Quality restoration performed by a previous owner, with light use and low miles since this restoration. Options include power steering, Fairlane 500XL Trim Package, Quality AM/ FM/ CD stereo, accessory gauges, parade boot cover for top, and much more. The interior has been beautifully restored and looks great. 15, 953 indicated miles on odometer is believed to be not actual miles. The body and paint is very good. The gaps are good and evidence of high quality work throughout are evident everywhere. The car is a survivor, with excellent condition metal throughout. Note from the numerous photos of the underbody, frame, suspension and lower body how solid, straight and nearly rust-free this car is. Dual exhaust. The exhaust has isolated areas of corrosion which is to be expected. The engine appears to be the original, matching 289 with C4 automatic. Engine ID takes has this data: 289 C 66-10 5-M 236-5 This is a drum brake car, but upgrade to front disk brakes would be an easy and low cost conversion. Chrome, trim, stainless and glass are all good. The owner said almost all the rubber seals and gaskets were replaced when repainted, except for some of the convertible top rubber parts. Top is in very good condition, with minor small areas of discoloration. Glass rear window. The engine compartment is very clean, tidy and appears very correct. The car runs, drives and stops well. There area few minor blemishes on the interior, such as the console plastic has broken away where the console door latches, and the silver metal dash trim has some flaws. Some of the chrome has minor flaws and light pitting in isolated areas.
