You are looking at my very rare BMW 2500.
Model number E3.
2. 5 straight six engine built in 1973
As you can see the car is very original.
Zero rust or corrosion in the inner arches, bulkhead.
Original paint underneath with surface rust.
The seats are in perfect condition as is the interior.
Car starts, runs and drives without hesitation.
No leaks, rattles etc.
Engine bay and inner wings are perfect and original.
All controls work.
The car was originally from Sweden and the cars are typically very well looked after by their owners which is why i bought it.
This car also comes with the Swedish registration document.
I am happy to assist with getting it registered here as I have all the paperwork ready to send off once the UK MOT is done and you will receive your new UK registration document in about two weeks,
A very simple process.
The only negative is the poor paintwork in Garnet Rot.
The original colour is Fjord Blue.
The plan was to have the car completely repainted back to original.
This is a very easy car which runs, drives. No structual rust to deal with
So have made the decision to leave it as is... for the time being.
Yes. To make it good I would do a full body respray. clean up the floorpans and underseal, polish the bumpers.
The surface rust you can see on the C pillars is just that. It needs to be taken back to metal as part of the repaint.
Car also comes with a very large spares package. including gearbox, front suspension complete. Glass, grills, perfect door cars etc.
This alone is worth a £1000 by itself.
Only reason I have decided to sell the cars is to purchase of a classic Mercedes which I have provisionally purchased.
