The Aston Martin Vantage GT12 stirs passion and excitement like no other. It is a car not only of extreme, visceral performance, but also, and perhaps more significantly, one with soul.
The GT12 was introduced to the public at the 2015 Geneva motor show, by which point almost all the 100 units had been sold. It represents the ultimate iteration of the Vantage model; a visceral swansong for naturally aspirated Aston Martins.
Significantly re-engineered from the ‘normal’ V12 S, the GT12 shed 100kg through the extensive use of carbon fibre body panels (bonnet, bumpers, front wings and optionally, roof). Power from the 6. 0 V12 was increased from 550 to 592 bhp, rendering it “a force of nature” according to EVO’s Richard Meaden.
The 7-speed Sportshift III transmission was also revised for quicker shifts, while the significant aero additions- a rear wing, front splitter, rear diffuser and side skirts- increased downforce by 7 times over the standard V12 S.
This GT12 has covered 1000 miles from new and is finished in Skyfall Silver with Speedway White GT12 graphics and contrasting orange brake calipers. The interior is trimmed in Obsidian Black leather and Alcantara with contrasting Californian Poppy stitching and interior accents.
The car is fitted with desirable options such as the all-important carbon fibre roof, carbon front grille, carbon exterior pack and forged carbon Aston Martin wings badges.
