Beschreibung
Very rare sidecar for restoration. This belonged to my late father who purchased it some 50+ years ago, in pretty much this condition.
I believe these lighter weight sidecars were built by Steib for BMW mainly for their single cylinder machines. They were marketed as the "standard" sidecar as shown in one of the period publications.
The chassis number is 1370.
Also I have found a rack which although has not been fitted to this sidecar would fit.
