Serial number 1261 - 1964 Drayton Major 8 foot long 2 berth folding Caravan. This is incredibly rare caravan believed to be one of only two survivors is from the last year of production, the only other one known is from 1961, the first year of production, which once belonged to the Author Enid Blyton. This 1964 example was once Supplied by Rollo and Allen of Fife and still displays their dealership plaque on the side. The period interior layout is two singles or a large double bed, end kitchen including sink and twin gas burner and wardrobe, along with plate rack. It is fitted with an original 1-1/ 2" tow hitch considerably smaller than those used today. The previous owner informs us that he has owned the van for over 20 years during which time he never used it.
