BACKGROUND
The addition of a supercharger to the Mini Cooper turned the ‘S’ into a serious performance car that can put much more expensive motoring exotica to shame, especially when it comes to tight and twisty lanes, when the ‘S’ will leave pretty much any car for dead.
You don’t just get top end performance with the Mini Cooper S, it’s built to quality and safety standards by BMW, with great steering and a willing chassis it is still a versatile and practical car to live with day to day, and is now regarded as a very collectable modern day classic.
The very fine condition of this Cooper S is an absolute credit to its three previous owners and it still drives and performs like a new car, looking very smart with its silver paintwork, black roof and a set of rare black powder-coated 2-piece split-rim JCW 17” alloy wheels.
In recent weeks, in preparing the car for sale, it has undergone various works and detailing to bring it up to the very finest presentable standard. It has just undergone a full and thorough major service including a supercharger service, coolant flush and being fitted with 4 brand new Michelin Pilot Sport tires, a new battery and a genuine Mini exhaust system.
The V5 is present showing 3 previous owners and there are numerous MOTs and receipts for repairs and servicing done by present and previous keepers over the years.
The car comes with two keys and all the original Mini Owner’s handbooks and service book.
The black part-leather supportive seats and whole stylish and retro inspired interior look in very good condition and it’s hard to find any real sign of use or wear, though the leather bolsters do have some light creasing and the rear seat armrests a few scuffs and marks.
Everything is very neat and clean and there is an Alpine CD player with ipod lead and a whole list of extras to keep you comfortable and safe. The car comes with a leather adjustable steering wheel, ice-cold air-conditioning, a panoramic electric sunroof, electric front windows and door mirrors which are also heated for those cold winter mornings.
Immaculately finished and presented in Silver with a Black roof there is nothing to find fault with, the few stone chips that were on the front of the car have been professionally re-painted and the paintwork all treated to a complete machine polishing.
The black mirror caps coupled with those super rare 2-piece split-rim R98 JCW 17” alloy wheels, freshly powder-coated in black with diamond cut rims and brand-new tires, finish the car off perfectly.
Open the bonnet and you’ll find everything as it should be, with no signs of any oil or coolant leaks.
The car has been recently treated to a full service and comprehensive overhaul to ensure this Mini Cooper S is in perfect mechanical condition and ready for its next lucky owner.
The Cooper S delivers serious performance from that supercharged engine with ABS, Traction Control, an agile and capable chassis with quick, direct steering helping to take full advantage of the available horsepower.
