Finished in Graphite Grey Metallic with Black Leather seats and Black carpets.
This lovely MGC was the subject of an extensive bodywork restoration in 2005 by Midland Classic Restorations.
At a cost in excess of £10, 000, this included repairs as necessary, underbody rust protection and a full bare metal re paint.
Some photographs of the work carried out and invoices etc are contained in the history file going back to 1996 which accompanies the car.
Further work carried out in 2005-2007 include an engine & gearbox overhaul including a clutch and later in 2012 a rear axle overhaul for which all receipts are in the file.
Since owning the car the interior has been replaced, including leather reclining seats with headrests, new carpets, new dashboard with new oil temp/ pressure/ fuel gauges and reconditioned tachometer, a period 17” steering wheel and centre horn push finish off the cabin.
Under the hood the engine bay is all in order and the straight 6 engine performs beautifully.
Mechanically, the car benefits from the optional overdrive on both 3rd & 4th gears, new rear springs have been fitted, new dampers front & rear and the addition of a full stainless steel exhaust ensure the car drives as well as it looks.
The car rides on a lovely set of 15x5. 5J chrome wires, setting off the car perfectly.
The car is MOT’d until 1/ 5/ 24 has recently been fully serviced and is all ready to go!
Only selling as an MGC roadster has taken its place.
