There is an MG PB on offer, one of only 526 vehicles made, which is why it is one of the rare vehicles. He is allowed for the Mille Miglia and due to the small number of vehicles he has a chance to take part in the Mille Milglia and, due to his age, also to get one of the front starting places.
The brakes were overhauled, carburetors and distributors rebuilt and fluids changed, and the rear drive shafts and wheel bearings replaced. The P-Type, also known as the Midget, was a small sports car that MG manufactured from 1934 to 1936. The special appeal of the P-Type lies in its modern sports engine design. A vertical shaft drives the overhead camshaft of the four-cylinder. Two carburetors supply the mixture via the cross-flow cylinder head. The result of this conception is an engine that happily revs up to 6000 rpm. In 1935, the PB replaced the PA and differed from its predecessor in its larger displacement and more power. The 847 cc with 36 hp of the PA became 939 cc with 43 hp in the PB. Together with the now slightly tighter gearing and the very direct steering, the meager 750 kg of the car could only be thrown around corners. Only 526 of these fun gnomes were produced. The small car is now looking for a happy nature that can conjure up a permanent grin on its face from the unique sound mix of engine, transmission and exhaust!
