Selling on behalf of my son who has taken a job overseas and has reluctantly decided to sell his pride and joy. He has owned the car for 10 years. ULEZ compliant and classed as an historic vehicle, so no road tax!!
A very handsome looking car, finished in black with black leather interior with white piping and a webasto sunroof. There is various paperwork and invoices for over £9000 (see photos). This included an Ivor Searle unleaded engine, invoices from MG specialists Abingdon Car Restorations for body repairs and mechanical work, replacement gearbox (with overdrive) from MGOC spares Ltd. and much more, including old MOTs going back to 1989.. The car received a fresh MOT on 13th April 2024, it only needed replacement brake pads. Minor advisories (see photo). The car has clearly been looked after and presents very well inside and out, with good shiny paintwork and no rust issues apart from one very minor bubble on the offside rear seam ( see photo). The panel gaps are very good. Chrome wise the rear bumper is excellent but the front has some minor marks and lacks overiders.. the chrome wires are ok but you may want to consider replating . The leather interior is unmarked, with no rips or tears. The sun roof is in good order and carpets show a little wear but are very presentable. The engine bay speaks for itself (see photos).
