Designed by the late Marcello Gandini to be the King of the Road in rallying taking on the likes of Lancia in the early 80’s. In streetversion the car is boasting a 1. 4 L turbocharged engine putting out 160 BHP. It comes with plenty of turbolag for a very memorable drive, that is sure to put a smile on anyones face.
This special car is originally sold by French dealer S. A. Les garages Chartrains to Renault UK Ltd. It holds its original manual as well as original servicebooklet, original salesinvoice as well as a large folder of history and maintenance invoices over its 40 year lifespan.
The car has recently been restored over a multi year period, and had an engine out rebuild by JL Engineering in the UK in 2023, only few hundred Miles since completion, as well as all suspension, cooling, interior and paintwork all which are well documented by buildphotos and parts invoices.
