Description
Hello, I have enjoyed this GTM Libra over the last couple of years but it is now time for it to go to a new home. I've had my fun on some lovely sunny days, but now it's time to move it on. It lives in my garage and comes with an outdoor cover.
The car is well built and has the 160bhp VVC motor in it. Wonderful noise on cam, and very quick as it doesn't weigh much. The roof panel is removable too, and fits behind the rear seats.
It has adjustable coilovers all round and has a full size spare wheel inside the front clam. Plenty tread on all 4 tyres.
It's a lovely looking thing and is actually very comfortable, with a spacious interior for the size of the car. All the electrical things work and there is a box of info on wiring and history items to go with the car. Also with the car is a spoiler which I have never fitted, but the screws are there for it, and some aero mirrors as extras.
It's not perfect, there is a little crack in the front splitter, and a little crazing on the gel coat on the boot lid. But mechanically it is spot on, and sailed through its MOT in July. I had new engine mounts fabricated and fitted last year by Scottish kit cars.
PX at the same price or less please. Either an interesting estate car or track car. I had an eye out for one of these for a while and when it came up for sale fairly local I jumped and bought it on first viewing. It looks lovely, really does, it's a great shape, and surprisingly spacious, I've had my golf clubs and trolley in it. Also my kids love it, it is an exhilerating drive, that VVC motor really is a cracker, it loves to rev once warmed up.
Has been reliable for me and is very simple mechanically. I've done a few thousand miles in it and the only breakdown was when I ran out of fuel!
