Description
1993 Mercedes 320CE in nautical blue which has covered 141350 over the past 32 years. The car comes with a good service history with 24 service stamps in the book, which were mostly by Mercedes main dealers up to 104000 and then some independent garages after that. I have owned the car for 7 years and only used as a third car, so the mileage hasn't increased much over this period.
There is a folder full of receipts, including replacement of the biodegradable engine wiring loom in 2017 at a cost of £1100. Brake pipes/ Flexi hoses, rear shocks, rear discs, front brake pads and some welding to the inner rear arches for MOT at £1800 in 2021. Last oil change service was completed in March 24, I also changed the Air and pollen filters at the same time and the car has covered less than 700 miles since then. Michelin tyres fitted all around.
The interior is grey checked cloth which is in great condition with no signs of wear, and all very clean. There is a period Backer Mexico radio cassette fitted.
Overall the paintwork is in nice condition and had a 2 stage polish and ceramic coating in 2021. The car looks very presentable at 10ft away, but in line with a 32 year old car, there are some small scuffs and scratches around the car. There are also some small areas of paintwork bubbling on the O/ S rear quarter, a small scuff on the front arch, which has an area of surface corrosion. There is some light crazing of the top coat on the roof.
Car comes with 2 keys and Mercedes wallet with owners handbook and service book. The original Mercedes Took kit is included and full size spare and the original sealed first aid kit. I have also obtained an original dealers brochure and price list which shows this car would have cost around £39k in 1993!
