This lovely 1600 was sold in 2017 For the princely sum of £35000 it enjoyed several years use until being bought back by a previous owner. In 2024 it has been treated to a complete engine overall with assistance from Craig Beck the engine guru. New head and cams etc. Now totally run in and on the button it is mechanically sound. The body has a few marks/ and stars but is original and it has never bothered me - as mentioned one is more inclined to use the car rather than sit in the garage. A couple of small items need sorted but nothing major. Optional rare original hardtop is available by negotiation. Excellent tonneau and hood with good frames. Having owned and driven numerous Elans I have to say this is the smoothest and enjoyable one I have ever owned owing to recent considerable mechanical refurbishment. Not prefect but a brilliant ( complete original car that is useable or as basis for conversion to 26r or for restoration to as new I also have a great S3 project coming for sale.
