Listing Porsche 356 Features: Porsche 356 BT6 Coupé 1600 Chassis n° 210407 Engine n° 606353 Gearbox n° 34903 Original colour: Reihergrau, upholstery KL red Engine 4 cylinders naturally aspirated - 1 600cm3 - 105 bhp - 9 hp 4 speed manual gearbox Exterior: Meissen Blue - Interior: Black Leather First MEC: 11/ 04/ 1962 Mileage: 18150 kms actual since restoration History: This Porsche 356 B was delivered new by Sonauto Paris on 11 April 1962. The first customer was Garage des Chevennes, 29 rue Stalingrad in Annonay. The car's history has been known since 2009. At that time, the car underwent a complete restoration (see attached file) by a preparer and coachbuilder from Lille specialising in exceptional vehicles. I acquired this Porsche 356 in 2021, at which time it had 15, 000 km. I am therefore the second owner since its restoration. The 2009 restoration: The 2009 appraisal concluded that the car was in as-new condition. Bare bodywork, replacement of rocker panels and front floor. Treatment and application of anti-corrosion products. Perfectly fitted windows, Plexiglas windows, new white roof lining, Meissen Blue paint (a rare colour from the 1958 Porsche catalogue) and a white longitudinal stripe reinforce the car's sporty character. Options borrowed from the Carrera version have been fitted: headlamp grilles, retro, bonnet straps, sports exhaust, SPEEDSTER-type bucket seats, NARDI steering wheel, KONI Classics shock absorbers. The original 6V power supply has been retained. The on-board instrumentation is complete and in perfect working order. The BLAUPUNKT car radio is original, and the metal bulb box and tyre pressure gauge are original! The engine and gearbox have been completely rebuilt (liners, pistons, special camshaft, bearings and gearbox shafts). The displacement of the Flat 4 engine was increased to 1705cm3 for a power announced at 105CV, Solex 40 PII carburettors replaced those of origin. The result is a splendid car and certainly single on the market as well in quality of restoration, performances and ease of control thanks to a reduced weight (800Kgs). In 2016: Replacement of the wheels and tyres with magnificent and rare TECHNOMAGNESIO and Racing AVON CR6ZZ sport tyres (size 185x70x15). Widening of the running gear with aluminium shims and replacement of the drums with discs at the front. Installation of a magnificent IRESA Inox 2-outlet silencer. Current condition: Qualified as being in near-new condition during a survey in 2022, this Porsche 356 has been very well preserved and used. A general service was carried out in 2021 at the time of my purchase. The last service was in October 2024. In addition to the usual maintenance work, the battery, starter, clutch, spark plugs, exhaust manifold and neiman were replaced (with new parts). The carburettors were overhauled, ultrasonically cleaned and adjusted. A circuit breaker was installed under the dashboard. The engine and gearbox work perfectly, and power is delivered easily. A compression measurement report is available. Underpinnings : The underpinnings of the car are sound and free from corrosion. Photos are available on request.
