1977 Porsche 928, European model, original German, delivered new on 11 August 1977. 240 bhp V8 engine. "Matching numbers", the Porsche Heritage birth certificate in the file. 89, 000 km on the clock. 5-speed manual gearbox, the gears shift very well and the clutch works perfectly.
This car was one of the first 300 built, so sought after by collectors as it had the advantage of not having the indicators on the front wings imposed by the Americans, and consequently these early examples were the most faithful to the original design as desired by Anatole Lapine, the genius who created the 928. The vehicle remains in excellent original condition, never restored and showing no signs of age, visibly pampered and maintained. The sublime Pasha interior is in excellent condition. The car runs perfectly and regularly and has its CT valid until September 2026. Recent work includes replacement of the timing belt, water pump and overhaul of the braking system. This 928 ticks all the boxes and unlike 911s, you don't see one on every street corner! Delivered with its Dutch registration (since 1986). Visible by appointment in Mouscron on the French-Belgian border near Tourcoing and 15 minutes from Lille.
Delivery possible throughout mainland France by specialised carrier at cost price. Background: The 1977 Porsche 928 is much more than just a car: it is a timeless work of art, a masterpiece of engineering and design. The first Porsche to be equipped with a V8 engine at the front, it is a bold, avant-garde car. With its sculpted aluminium and galvanised steel bodywork, flowing lines and iconic retractable headlights, it embodies the futuristic elegance of the late 70s. What's more, the build quality of this model - Porsche's top-of-the-range model at the time - was beyond reproach, as evidenced by the more than reassuring sound made when the doors were 'slammed'! After all, wasn't it voted Car of the Year 1978?
The interior of this 928, with its legendary Pasha motif, is a real tribute to the bold design of the era. The black and white geometric pattern, inspired by optical illusions, gives the cabin an atmosphere that is both retro and sophisticated. Under the bonnet, the 4. 5-litre V8 develops 240 horsepower, offering dynamic driving and unrivalled comfort for its time, making the 928 a true luxury Grand Tourer. With its revolutionary Weissach trailing-arm rear suspension and near-perfect weight distribution, it delivers exceptional roadholding, combining sportiness with refinement.
Even today, the 1977 Porsche 928 is a symbol of exclusivity and passion, prized by collectors and lovers of fine mechanical engineering. This example, with its emblematic Pasha interior, embodies the visionary spirit of Porsche: a perfect balance between performance, design and innovation.
