Description
Genuine and rare 3700Km in almost NEW condition This 1977 Kawasaki 400KH, registered in 1978 (unsold stock) has only known 2 owners, including me.
It covered 3700Km in 1978, then was delicately installed in the warmth of its owner's living room. That's almost all. I was lucky enough to be able to recover it in 2015, and I had almost nothing to do before restarting it. A battery, some oil, a brake bleed, a bit of petrol and then 1 kick was all it took to get it purring again after 36 years of sleep. The front tyre, YOKOHAMA as it should be, having remained inflated all these years, it's quite possible that the air came from the land of the rising sun. On the other hand, the 3700Km driven in 1978 were the last straw for the rear tyre. After a long and fruitful search, I found the famous new YOKOHAMA rear tyre. YES, it's not sensible to ride on wood, but the 200Km I rode were done with full knowledge of the facts and therefore rather "light", although... This 400KH is one of the most pleasant bikes to ride, with the feeling and noise so characteristic of the 3-cylinder Kawasaki, but with incredible suppleness. The 2000 rpm before the red zone are incredibly lively. The bike is in almost NEW condition and, above all, 100% original. I forgot, it has been fitted with magnificent, tiny, and very discreet chrome bumpers, rare parts of course, like the bike, well this one. The bike is available immediately. Spring is coming, everything is said.
