Description
Kawasaki 1000 from 1982, modified to 1135 by Godier Genoud. The bike was prepared at the time by Godier Genoud. The frame is reinforced with new shock absorber mounts, and the aluminium swingarm is reinforced. An Brembo rear caliper with its mounting and a floating cast-iron disc. Two Grimeca magnesium wheels, 18-inch. New chain kit with aluminium rear sprocket. Dual brakes with Brembo cast-iron discs, fork extensions with the distributor. The front fork stiffener as well as the steering damper. Mudguard, engine guard and polyester tail, plus small indicators. It naturally carries its period livery along with a white saddle. A set of Koni rear shocks. An engine preparation including the 1135 kit, the double-spark head, the CR carburettor ram with the two taps to feed it, aluminium engine mounts, the oil cooler and the black enamelled 4-into-1 Devil exhaust. The bike has been fully serviced with all oil changes and valve clearances. Both tyres are new as is the battery. Its MOT is valid. And it runs very well. The bike retains its period paintwork with a few touch-ups. It has not been restored and therefore retains its beautiful original patina. All parts are period pieces; there are no reproductions.
