Description
This Toyota Land Cruiser underwent a complete restoration from A to Z; everything was dismantled. Work began in 2020 and finished in May 2025. The restoration was carried out by two professional workshops and the interior by a professional trimmer. The first workshop dropped out due to lack of time after two years of work.
Three upgrades were applied to this Land Cruiser:
1) Front disc brakes
2) Electric power steering
3) Roll bar
Invoices for the work carried out €70, 000; invoices for new parts €40, 000 (covering a new cover/ painted bodywork–doors–cabin kit, refurbishment of the transfer case– gearbox, wheels, suspensions and many other parts I cannot list here but which are on the invoices).
Total spent: €123, 000

The restoration project was supposed to last a year, but in the meantime I moved abroad (to England) and therefore I cannot keep this Toyota. The price is very appealing—you save €40, 000.
I took care of the first 500 kilometres for its break-in. The first oil change should be carried out before sale to ensure everything is running smoothly.
I calculated fuel consumption at 10. 2 litres per 100 km in mixed driving. With a new engine, there are no oil leaks and no smoke. The diesel pump has also been rebuilt (new parts) and checked by a renowned diesel specialist in La Rochelle.
The vehicle would suit a collector. It is stored in a locked garage under a protective cover from FJ Company, which alone costs €800.
The vehicle is viewable in La Rochelle.
