Description
Famous Italian city-car model, the Fiat 500 first existed from 1936 to 1955 under the name “Topolino”, the smallest car in the world at the time. A second generation of the Fiat 500 then appeared in 1957 and was produced in various versions: Nuova 500, Sport, D, F, L, R… In total, the second-generation Fiat 500 was built for over 4 million units until 1975. Subsequently, the third (2007) and fourth (2020) generations appeared.
NYC’s/ OXOTO is offering here a magnificent example of the Fiat 500 second generation delivered new in June 1971. Notably, the odometer currently reads only 33, 057 km! We unfortunately do not have a lot of information to trace the full history of the vehicle, but we do know that the car has been fully rebuilt/ restored to concours condition. It’s a car that NYC’s had already sold in 2021. Its current Belgian owner has decided to re-sell due to lack of time to enjoy it.
As for the car’s bodywork, it is in perfect condition! There is nothing to say, it has no defects (no dents, scratches, rust traces, corrosion…). The rear luggage rack on the boot is in very good condition. The canvas roof is also in impeccable condition.
The interior also presents very well, nothing to report. The leather seats are in perfect condition, the carpets are clean, the dashboard is immaculate… In short, we can describe this as a concours-condition car!
Regarding the mechanicals, our example is in order, nothing to plan. We have recent invoices confirming its condition (clutch kit, gauge, synchro, oil, bearings…). Recent new outlays have been made: new battery, spark plugs, platinum-tipped, wiper blades and integrated battery charger.
Our example is supplied with the set of keys, a wicker trunk to strap to the rear luggage rack, and the necessary documents.
A ramp is available at our facilities to show you the underside of the vehicle.
