1986 Ford Transit with 93, 000 km on the clock
Indestructible cast-iron engine, very reliable. Starts at the turn of the key, runs without issue and can cover any distance.
Ideal for converting into a camper or for carrying plenty of gear. Bought about a year ago for professional activity.
History:
The vehicle belonged to the production of the film "Taxi" (visible in the film in its original dark blue colour, photo to back this up). In the film, bullets are fired at the van, and the impacts are still visible because of poor repairs.
Registration is up to date, but the MOT is in for a re-test due to perforating rust.
To be expected:
- Repairs to restore the floor due to rust
- Bodywork + paintwork
- Quite a few small things
On the other hand, the vehicle runs very well, and there is nothing to foresee on the engine side. I drove it almost every day.
Could be used as-is, or as a restoration project.
