After a professional polish carried out with an orbiting machine by our workshop, we noted a slight paint crack on the driver’s door and on the front bonnet. The door sills and door frames show a few minor chips. The chrome bumpers are in good condition. We noted some fine micro-scratches. The chromes are complete and correctly positioned. The chromed trim and the rear wheel arch guards are in good condition. We observed a trace of rust on the rear left wheel arch guard. The PVC convertible top in “Weiss” is in good condition, with no tears or snags apart from small cuts on the right side. Its installation is easy and its seal remains compliant with the standards of the era. The rear window is in good condition. This example is fitted with a faux leather colour “Weiss” convertible top cover, which is in good condition although its fit could be improved. The 4 chrome 15” wheels are in good condition. We noted some rust traces on the rims. The 4 chrome “baby moon” hubcaps are in perfect condition. The tyres show 10% wear on both front and rear. This exemplar comes with its original steel spare wheel and jack. Notable exterior features and options of this model include chromed rear wing guards, the faux leather colour “Weiss” convertible cover, the 4 chrome 15” wheels and its 4 chrome hubcaps type “baby moon”. Interior: The interior is in good presenting condition. The original Weiss faux leather upholstery with Schwarz piping is in good condition. The whole shows a light but uniform fade. The driver’s seat edge has a small cut (2 cm) and the rear bench has a few small snags. This specimen is fitted with front headrests in original Weiss faux leather. The PVC dashboard in Schwarz with wood finish is also in good condition, as is its faux leather Schwarz dash cap. The original VDO onboard instrumentation is fully functional. This specimen has a perfectly functioning VDO clock. The Alpine radio and Blaupunkt speakers are also fully functional. The door panels in Weiss faux leather with wood finish match the upholstery. Overall, excellent presentation. This specimen is equipped with a wooden 3-spoke LECARRA steering wheel in excellent condition. The bakelite gear knob is in good original condition. The headlining is in faux leather colour “Weiss”.
