The engine was rebuilt less than 5, 000 km ago by a professional.
On this occasion, the cylinder block was re-bored with the fitting of new pistons and new connecting rods (Carillo) were installed.
At the same time, the motorcycle benefited from a few improvements allowing it to ride with confidence in today’s traffic:
* The wiring loom is new.
* The ignition is provided by an electronic unit that makes starting the bike easy.
* The carburettors have been cleaned in an ultrasonic bath, overhauled and adjusted.
* The bike sits on superb aluminium alloy wheels shod with Avon tyres.
* The engine breathes through a KN air filter.
* The front braking is now provided by a brake master cylinder and an AP Racing caliper linked together by an aviation-grade stainless steel hose. This assembly works effectively on a 320 mm Brembo disc.
* To ensure a comfortable yet slightly sporty riding position, the bike is fitted with a Corbin saddle and rear-set controls.
* The engine & gearbox assembly is connected to the frame via a new, adjustable Isolastic Type MK3 with vernier.
The motorcycle has a valid French registration certificate and a fresh CT (technical inspection) will be carried out for the sale.
