Powered by the tough 351 engine, it’s a genuine opportunity for enthusiasts of the iconic pony car. Imported around ten years ago by its current owner, it has benefited from a return to its original specification, with the replacement of the automatic gearbox by a manual transmission with an additional ratio—helping to lower engine revs and improve fuel consumption.
Fitted with disc brakes on all four wheels, it delivers safe, enjoyable road manners. Its yellow paint (D code: Ford #3470-A) gives it a striking presence, while the mechanicals have been made more reliable thanks to the replacement of the carburettor.
Factory configuration certified against Marti Deluxe: 351 4V code M matching numbers, Shaker bonnet, original D-code yellow, manual gearbox. Repainted in its factory colour and converted back to a manual gearbox (brand-new Tremec T5, long 5th) after a period in an automatic transmission in the USA.
The automatic gearbox is included for anyone who would like to return it to a different configuration.
