Description
MG MGB Roadster 1978 originally from California, in its unrestored condition.
The car shows only 48, 685 miles (± 78, 000 km) and represents an excellent base for a recommission or partial restoration.
We recently started the engine in our workshop. The engine runs well and shows good oil pressure.
The bodywork is generally sound. A few small rust bubbles are visible at the rear lower wings (doglegs) and at the lower front wings. The paint is old and dull, with areas where it flakes.
Technical points to plan for:
Defective clutch hydraulics (car not roadworthy)
Engine overhaul recommended after long period of inactivity
Old tyres with cracking
Old hood to be replaced eventually
The interior is original and largely complete. Included: tonneau cover, hood cover, original jack and toolkit.
An interesting project for an enthusiast or a solid base to improve.
