Selling a guided thrust bearing bell housing for R8 Gordini, R8S, R8 all models, R10 Buffalo and all 330 gearboxes.
Originally it's an unguided thrust bearing bell housing - the guided thrust bearing kit has been installed. The suction seal and thrust bearing are new. The installation was done correctly with modifications for proper operation (thrust bearing set back to maximum so it doesn't come into permanent contact with the mechanism).
Note that the guided thrust bearing kit sold does not allow the clutch to function!!!!! If you fit it as sold, it's impossible to disengage the clutch!!!!
This bell housing allows you to keep the earlier gearboxes (unguided thrust bearing with their corresponding splined tails without modification) - you just screw it onto the casings. They're more common than the later gearboxes which have the original guided thrust bearing.
