Hello, a friend and I have launched a project to manufacture a complete steering wheel hub kit for Quillery and CFA. A previous project had fallen through due to high production costs of over €100. We've managed to produce the kit for €60 plus postage in tracked letter, around €4.
The kit can be broken down as follows: Hub with metal washer, €25, Crown, €20, Spring, €10, Button, €5.
For information, the manufacturing process involves 3D printing, inclusion of a metal washer, resin coating plus heating to achieve a glossy finish and durability, new stainless steel spring, minimum order of 50 springs each, laser cutting of CFA washers, and construction of tooling to stamp the Quillery washers.
Re-manufacture of steering wheel hubs for Quillery adaptable steering wheels, from Citroën HY, which will suit enthusiasts who don't have an original steering wheel and will allow the use of the horn.
