H4 Headlamp Holder Kit for BA21D Holder Replacement
BA21D type holders for 3-pin lamps that were previously supplied by Cibié, Ducellier and Sev-Marchal have not been manufactured for around forty years and have become difficult to find on the market today.
Plein Phares / Plein Feux has developed a replacement product based on an H4 type lamp that offers significantly superior photometric lighting performance possibilities compared to the original BA21D type lamps.
Specifications:
- Designed for 42 mm reflector bowl hole
- Supplied with H4 lamp at 6 Volts 65/ 55 Watts approved European manufacturing quality
- Supplied with special 3-way connector that allows easy connection to the vehicle's original wiring harness
- Mechanical mounting by quarter-turn engagement, easy and identical to the original mounting of BA121D holders
- Mounting accepted by MOT testing and DRIRE (Mining Authority) as it uses a lamp approved to European standards
- Easy lamp replacement in case of lamp failure
- Accepts LED lamps
If you need a sidelight lamp integrated into the headlamp, you will need to install our kit 3PF2572 which can accommodate standard or LED sidelights with BA9S base.
In this case, the sidelight function will offer significantly superior lighting performance compared to shuttle lamps that illuminated through a small banana-shaped window in the old BA21D holder types.

We also have this type of kit available in yellow lighting and in 12 or 24 Volts.
This type of kit accepts ventilated or non-ventilated LED lamps.
