LED bulb holder kit for replacing single-function BA21S bulb holders at 12 Volts
This type of bulb holder was found on vehicle headlights from the 1930s to 1960s (cars and motorcycles) for dipped beam or fog light functions.
BA21S type bulb holders for 3-pin bulbs that were previously supplied by manufacturers Cibié, Ducellier and Sev-Marchal have not been manufactured for around fifty years and have become difficult to find on the market today.
Plein Phares / Plein Feux has developed a replacement product based on an H4 LED bulb at 12 Volts which offers photometric lighting performance capabilities significantly superior to the original BA21S type bulbs.
Specifications:
- Designed for 42 mm reflector bowl aperture
- Supplied with H4 LED white light bulb with heatsink at 12 Volts 65/ 55 Watts of quality
- Supplied with special 2-way connector which allows easy connection to the vehicle's original wiring harness.
- Mechanical mounting by quarter-turn bayonet fitting, simple and identical to the original BA21S bulb holder mounting
- Easy bulb replacement in case of bulb failure.
If a sidelight function integrated into the headlight is required, it will be necessary to install our kit 3PF2573 which can accommodate standard or LED sidelights with BA9S base at 12 Volts.
In this case, the sidelight function will offer lighting performance well superior to shuttle bulbs which illuminated through a small banana-shaped window in the old BA21S type bulb holders.
6 Volt and 24 Volt versions are also available.
