Replacement bolts for spring shackle pins RENAULT
applies to many RENAULT light commercial vehicles Colorale Goelette Galion 1000kg 1400kg R2087 etc.
these pins are often seized and difficult to remove cleanly
if you strike them too hard the thread gets damaged
the pin comprises:
BOLT and NUT + split pin
strength grade 10. 9
M16 fine pitch (the original thread was M14 but the pin diameter is identical see photo)
length 120mm (cut down to 105mm original)
finish galvanised
+ split pin 2. 8X28mm
to be cut down by yourself:
- length 105mm
- drill steel for the split pin (3mm diameter pillar drill)
- slot the nut for the split pin
- remake the flat on the bolt that will lock into the bracket (last step)
+ the original recesses on the pin for assembly paste reserve (not essential)
