BMW 3-spoke M-Tech 1 sport steering wheel, original first series 1982-1983.
Reference numbers engraved on hub: 1 201 145 1 and 20 71 80. BMW logo and factory mark also visible.
Compatibility: 36 splines Ø 17mm, visible in photo. Direct fit BMW E30 1982-1994, E28, E34, E32, E31, Z3. Incompatible with E21/ E12 which use 22 splines.
Condition: Original leather complete and clean, no tears or loose stitching. Very dry with superficial cracking. Definitely needs conditioning or re-covering. Aluminium spokes with no impact damage or corrosion. Wheel never removed or tampered with.
Sound base for restoration. Dual-reference M-Tech 1 wheels are sought-after.
Reason for sale: Incompatible with my BMW E21 which has 22 splines.
