Description
Very beautiful and comprehensive VDO branded instrument cluster for the VOLVO 140/ 142/ 145 range from the 1960s/ 70s. It features the typical red rotating drum speedometer of that era and this model with daily mileage (both functional) and already has a 6-digit totaliser (the first in history I believe, before it became standard in the late 1970s). There's also the fuel gauge and water temperature gauge as well as various warning lights, all in good condition. Dated 1968 on the back of the unit. It also has the small arrow-shaped marker for setting a speed limit not to exceed, also very typical of the model well before cruise control existed!
A beautiful piece that has become rare nowadays!!!
