1957 Volvo 444 dismantled
The project was to create a race version.
The bodywork has been completely restored by a professional and is ready for painting.
Also included are two racing front wings in polyester.
It has its original French registration document from the period.
The car is missing some parts – the engine, part of the interior, and a pallet of components are included.
However, there are two other complete cars included in the lot:
a 544 with auction sale certificate in good condition with the larger engine and two large SU carburettors
a 544 with auction sale certificate for parts with the single carburettor engine
These models of cars have raced all over, including the Monte Carlo.
This makes it a very interesting classic to drive and participate in historic rallies, as all the parts have been reproduced and are available at very attractive prices.
