Description
Due to lack of space and time, I am selling a CHENARD & WALCKER Type T8 6 Cylinder 14 Horsepower from February 1930
Original registration document present along with the spare parts nomenclature, the maintenance manual, the lubrication guide and the dating certificate.
Car requiring complete restoration. Engine rebuilt (6 new pistons, rebored, new connecting rods and crankshaft) at a cost of €6, 500 in 2010. New Scintex ignition system never fitted.
I am selling the car with a 2nd engine-gearbox unit, rear axle, radiator, front suspension, rear suspension, etc…
Car manufactured at the DELAHAYE works on 11 February 1930 (dating certificate) and marketed by CHENARD & WALCKER.
"To resist French competition and general overproduction, a consortium was formed between 1927 and 1931 comprising Delahaye, Chenard and Walcker and Rosengart: the Consortium of major manufacturers. Thus, each partner would manufacture common models sold by all three firms. From this association came the six-cylinder 2. 5 and 2. 9 litre models of 1928."
Car produced in approximately 1, 800 examples (600 under the Delahaye Type 108 marque and 1, 200 Chenard & Walcker T8)
To date, four T8s are recorded (one Tourer, two six-light saloons and one cabriolet)
An exceptional project for the committed enthusiast. The car is complete with numerous duplicate components. Requires full restoration. Chassis, rear axle and wheels already painted in black epoxy. LAFITTE BORDEAUX trunk. It's a substantial restoration with entirely new and visible mechanics.

The car can be viewed in the north of the Bordeaux region.
