I'm selling my father-in-law's Motobécane that I've restored.
Purchased in 1961 in Castelnaudary (copper nameplate on the mudguard). It has therefore remained in the same family for 65 years.
Engine rebuilt: piston and rings, crankshaft seals replaced.
Tank de-rusted and resin-coated with Restom kit resin.
Forks restored.
New air box.
New footrest brackets.
New coil and distributor.
All cables are new and the housings have been replaced.
Whitewall tyres replaced.
Original seat but I've changed the internal bungee cord.
Original expandable luggage rack.
Brake pads replaced.
I'm selling it because I have other projects and I ride it very little. It's parked in my garage, kept dry.
Classic vehicle registration document.
I've never had it MOT tested. I'll need to do that if you confirm the purchase.
