1. The model
With the 1969 model year, the 911 adopts the extended wheelbase of 2, 268 mm which significantly improves its handling, whilst retaining all the aesthetic refinement of the early 911s. The T version, powered by the 2-litre flat-six with carburettors developing 110 bhp, represents today one of the most authentic ways to experience the character of an original 911: lightweight, its mechanics are particularly lively. Its 5-speed gearbox contributes fully to its driving pleasure.
2. A French original with particularly thorough documentation
This example has the distinction of having been delivered new in France by Sonauto. The Porsche certificate confirms its original specification, notably its highly desirable Tangerine Orange colour – code 6809, its black interior and its 901/ 03 engine type of 1, 991 cc. The engine number on the car matches that recorded at factory delivery (COA available).
3. A complete restoration
The car underwent a particularly extensive and documented restoration in 2017, covering the bodywork, mechanics, running gear, braking, electrics and interior. The photographic file allows one to follow the various phases of restoration of the body and engine. The mechanics notably underwent a complete overhaul with cylinders and pistons, valve train, cylinder heads, clutch, ignition and numerous ancillaries refurbished or replaced. The gearbox was checked and the exhaust renewed.
The running gear and braking system were also completely overhauled. The interior was restored in keeping with its original presentation, notably its original instruments and steering wheel. All this work is accompanied by an extensive file of invoices and restoration photographs.
4. A particularly appealing specification
This 911 now possesses exactly what one seeks in a "Classic" Porsche of this generation: a narrow bodywork, the characteristic chrome trim of the early 911s, Fuchs wheels and above all this spectacular Tangerine Orange colour, which gives it an exceptional presence without detracting from its elegance.

This 911 T combines several qualities that have become difficult to find on a single example: French origin, original engine, original colour, thorough and documented restoration, substantial invoice file and remarkable presentation. The inspection carried out after restoration already described the work as an "exhaustive restoration" and highlighted the importance of the invoice file.
Above all, this is a 911 that simply wants to be driven. Its 2-litre carburetted engine, its lightness and 5-speed gearbox deliver that direct mechanical sensation which is the very charm of the early 911 generations.
