Description
One of the last great Jaguar tourers to retain the distinctive character of classic British GTs.
This October 2011 Jaguar XK 5. 0 V8 Cabriolet belongs to the ultimate and most refined evolution of the X150 generation, equipped with a naturally aspirated 5. 0-litre V8 developing 385 bhp.
This naturally aspirated V8 is becoming increasingly rare. It delivers power in a perfectly linear fashion along with a characteristic engine note, difficult to find in today's turbocharged engines. Imported in 2024 and fully registered in Portugal.
With 131, 000 km on the clock, this XK presents itself in excellent overall condition, testament to careful use throughout its life. Its bodywork in a discreet metallic finish is paired with a black leather interior with wood inserts, forming an elegant and timeless combination.
The fabric hood is in good condition and ensures the comfort and weather protection expected of a true grand tourer. Inside, the materials show only wear consistent with the mileage and remain very well preserved, with no signs of neglectful use.
The XK Cabriolet was not conceived as a pure sports car, but as a true GT: comfortable, refined and capable, able to cover long distances with ease whilst retaining the character and presence befitting a Jaguar.
As XKs equipped with naturally aspirated V8s become increasingly scarce, this example offers the opportunity to acquire a last-generation Jaguar combining performance, elegance and the unmistakable character of a classic British GT.
