RELUCTANTLY – 1998 VW T4 campervan + 2 engines
After more than 20 years together, I’ve decided to sell my trusty companion: a Volkswagen Transporter T4 campervan, 1. 9 TD ABL.
Two years ago, the engine broke down. I tried to get it running again with a second engine bought in Europe, but unfortunately, it didn’t go to plan…
Now, due to a lack of time, I have to face the fact. It breaks my heart to see it in this state. Above all, I’d like it to find someone who’ll give it a new lease of life rather than letting it end up abandoned.
Things to note:
- Original engine broken + second engine.
- Perforating rust on the driver’s side running board.
- Non-perforating rust above the sliding door and under the windscreen on the right-hand side.
- Vehicle has been off the road for two years, does not run: flatbed transport required.
I’m not trying to sell a pipe dream, but to find an enthusiast who’ll want to breathe new life into it.
