The Appeal

Extraordinarily rare opportunity to purchase a concept motorcycle by the forward-thinking design house Moko Powa of Switzerland.

Based on the trusty Yamaha FZ750, this concept bike is 1 of only 10 ever made and believed to be 1 of only 6 remaining in existence.

Apart from looking like no other classic motorbike out there, it has extremely low mileage and is mechanically perfect, making this true collector's item in every sense.

The History and Paperwork

  • 1 of only 10 ever made
  • Believed to be 1 of only 6 remaining
  • Built in 1985 but first registered in France in 2000
  • Lived a pampered life with very low mileage
  • Never been restored or welded
  • Recent oil and fluid changes

The current enthusiast owner has been the custodian of this charming piece of motorcycle history for the last two years and now wishes to create space for the purchase of another classic motorbike.

The Exterior

  • Overall excellent condition with only a few blemishes
  • Bodywork unique to the POWA version
  • Eye-catching white/blue colour scheme
  • Totally original condition
  • Wheels and tyres described as perfect

This stunning concept bike is a real eye catcher on the road thanks to its unique futuristic design and distinctive colour scheme.

The owner describes the condition of the paintwork as an 8 out of 10, with the only visible blemishes on the front lower-left panel, some stone chips on the front and a minor crack underneath the windscreen.

The owner notes that there is no corrosion anywhere on the bike.

The Mechanics

  • Mechanically perfect
  • Original matching numbers engine and gearbox
  • Rides exactly as it should
  • Sounds as good as new

Because the unique bodywork is draped over the popular Yamaha FZ750 2MG, this bike is no harder to maintain than any other Japanese bike from this period.

This particular example is said to ride very nicely, with smooth linear acceleration and good power from the engine, which bears no leaks or smoke. Braking performance is strong and there are no noises, bangs or other untoward noises when riding.

The engine bay itself is said to be in like-new condition, having been meticulously maintained despite only covering a little over 7,200km.

Summary

This is an amazing example of a very rare concept motorbike. Because there were only 10 ever made for the entire world, you are not only bidding on an extremely low mileage classic motorcycle, but a true collector’s item and piece of motoring history.

That it’s in excellent shape both cosmetically and mechanically means it is ready to be enjoyed by another enthusiast, whether they want to simply store it away and stare at it or wow the crowds at classic vehicle shows.

About Max Bids

The max bid process allows you to bid without any hassle.
Enter your maximum bid and we will then bid on your behalf to ensure you're the highest bidder - just enough to keep you in the lead and only up until your maximum.

Anti-sniping

C&C prevent auction snipers from bidding in the last seconds to win an auction.
Auctions are extended by 5-minutes if anyone bids within the last 2 minutes to allow other bidders to react and counter-bid.

Auto-bidding increments

  • If your maximum bid is equal to or below the reserve price, your maximum bid will be applied in full if you are the highest bidder.
  • If you are the highest bidder and place a maximum bid above the reserve, we will automatically put in the reserve as your first bid.
    • Once the reserve has been met, Car & Classic will make sure you are the highest bidder using only the bidding increments stated below.
    • We will keep you in the lead up until your maximum bid OR the increment closest to your maximum bid, providing your maximum bid is enough to cover the increment value.

Bid Amount Increment
£0 to £10,000 £100.00
£10,000 to £50,000 £250.00
£50,000 to £100,000 £500.00
£100,000+ £1000.00

Automatically outbid immediately

When you place a max bid and are outbid immediately that means that another bidder has placed a max bid limit which is higher than yours.
You can bid again and we will use our automatic bid system to try and get you as the highest bidder.

Matching max bids

When there are two max bids of the same value, the one placed first remains the lead bidder.
