Here for sale we are delighted to present this smart Series 3, in rare County Station Wagon configuration. As can be seen by the photographs, this is, in our opinion, a handsome looking vehicle. It has managed to survive with many of its original station wagon features, and is of a high specification.
To the exterior, the vehicle is pretty much as it was when it rolled off the production line with Safari/ Tropical roof, alpine lights, rear sliding glass windows and rear step. The bodywork is remarkably straight and the paint finish is of generally a better standard than one might see on this type and age. Even the door-mounted wing-mirrors survive! A towbar and electrics are fitted to allow towing of a trailer - handy!
The interior is also fairly original, with the correct seats to the rear, deluxe fronts, and some deluxe matting. The roof liner is also in better order than one normally sees, so this is an added bonus.
In summary, this is an opportunity to acquire a reasonably rare and genuine station wagon. And benefitting from the overdrive, free wheeling hubs and uprated suspension, it's well specified too. We think it looks lovely!
