1958 Zundapp Bella 154
25754 miles, 150cc, 4 speed, matching numbers, genuine UK Zundapp registered 1st August 1958.
I am the 5th owner. It has recently benefitted from a complete new chrome original remanufactured exhaust system, full rebore with new piston and rings (work carried out by Mark at MB Scooters), has been run in and rides brilliantly. Starts great with the electric start too, I use it regularly and it has never let me down.
Lots of history including the original buff log book, old mots, 50's paper advert cuttings, zundapp club newsletter front page feature (may 2008), rare zundapp maintenance and engine rebuild books, current V5, and has original registration mark (Non transferable) with authenticity document from the vintage motor scooter club.
The Bella was mostly restored by the previous owner 10 years ago, and I have recommissioned it and used it regularly. It is in very nice condition mechanically and cosmetically, but whilst the paint job is very good, it is not perfect. It has the odd scratch and some paint bubbles and cracks here and there, but still looks great.
With all the authenticity, history and rarity of this Bella, it is a nice investment, and is great fun for the summer. I insure it on a multi vehicle classic policy for £36 per year, and it's MOT and Tax exempt making it very cheap to run!
