Toyota mr2 aw11 mk1 with 1. 6ltr 4AGE engine manual transmission uk car.
The shells upper exterior is in great shape for one of these due to a major overhaul in 2011 at the cost to the lady owner of £4800.
I have the receipt to prove this, also a large stack of paperwork as well as the original owners manual with the key.
The work undertaken was to an excellent standard & included
Car stripped down
All four arches replaced
Inner and outer sills replaced
Parts removed cleaned overhauled then painted as required.
Entire car sprayed in the factory colour
New decals added post overhaul
Since then the car has suffered some age related issues-
The engine is noisy, please see the video to hear this for yourself.
There is a couple of areas under the car that needs welding. The windscreen needs replacing (easily sorted thru your insurance for £50- £90ish) & finally the passenger seat is missing and been replaced with a random seat- the car has minor bodywork issues (scabs) easily resolved.
However for one of these at the project price its positioned at, this is an ideal candidate. The engine still pulls well, the brakes work, the gearbox selects all gears fine.
The car is very original, the engine is completely standard, the boot lining panels are all there. The original tool kit in bag is included.
I have another aw11 i was going to use as a parts car which is complete, i would be interested in doing a deal on both cars for the right price or i can provide the missing seat and any other bits of trim you wish to replace, with a purchase of this car listed at the right price.
The other cars engine to the best of my knowledge is a good runner and could easily be dropped into this shell to make a great example of these cars.
The price for both cars is £2200.
