I am looking to purchase any Freight Rover model in the 200 range from late 1982 onward's , be it a Panel Van , Camper or Minibus but it must be up and running with a current M. O. T. Petrol model much preferred but I am not dismissing one fitted with the 2 liter Prima diesel , beggars can't be choosers if you know what I mean . The same goes for the round headlights , again round lights are my preference but it would be stupid for me to dismiss the square headlight model if the vehicle is sound enough in the body department and this includes the LDV 200 model with the higher roof panel as fitted to the LDV Pilot. If your vehicle is the Minibus or Camper I have no issues if the interior has been stripped out/ tatty/ untidy or incomplete in the back as I just want the enjoyment to own , restore and drive one again . I owned my first one for 10 years and my second for only 3 years so I have an idea of what I want condition wise and will not wast your time with stupid or insulting offers , I'm in it to own , drive and enjoy but this time I want it to be for keeps .
The first photo is the first one I owned and the second is just a library picture for reference . Before you get in touch , you would like to know how much I would pay ? A good round headlight model that I could just get in and drive away but with MINOR work to carry out (excluding paintwork) I would start from around £1, 200 this would go up depending on condition , what you think your vehicle is worth etc; if I agree with your own personal valuation I will pay it no problem but also If I think you are undervaluing your vehicle I will be honest with you and give you what I believe it is worth to me as I do not want to loose the chance to go away with the right vehicle that I could enjoy by being deceitful or dishonest , that's not the way I do things .
